Small artisan workshops and Italian leather goods such as Livio's are disappearing; "Italian artisans cost too much, the big fashion multinationals go to produce elsewhere, where it costs less" he told us the day we met him for the first time and saw him working in his shop.
He's right, that's right. This is why we insist on choosing Italian artisans like him: because it can't be all a question of profits and production costs. We believe the MADE in ITALY is only true if made entirely in Italy, if it preserves our identity.

GUIDE And made of high-end calfskin that we have recovered from one of the many storage warehouses of leathers produced for the big luxury brands and left unsold. We found two beautiful base colors for the body of the bag to which we wanted to add a pop of color and a different texture.
This is why we kept looking until we found genuine Italian leather produced in Santa Croce sull'Arno (where we live) with a truly amazing crocodile print.
